Calendar Types or Styles

The difference is in the intended purpose and use of the calendar.

The business promotion calendar is intended to appeal to a wide audience and be used by a business or organization to advertise itself in a taget area in the same manner as a billboard, flyer or magazine advertisment. Whereas the personal use calendar is intended to appeal to one person and is generally of a higher overall percieved value.

Both the ''personalized/custom'' and ''personal use'' calendar styles share the same production method and quality.

There are two types of business promotion calendars; Standard and Personalized/Custom.

The ''standard'' business promotion calendar is a 13 month calendar that begins on December 1st of the current year, ending on December 31st of the following year.

The standard business promo calendar enables businesses, organizations or event organizers to design a singular advertisment or promotional message then apply it to one location within the calendar located below the date pad on a ''flap'' 10.5''w x 1.5''h.

The standard business promotion calendar is primarily constructed using a card stock cover with text/paper stock pages.

The ''personalized'' business promotion calendar is a 13 month calendar that begins on December 1st of the current year, ending on December 31st of the following year.

The personalized business promo calendar enables businesses, organizations or event organizers to design as many advertisments or promotional messages as desired. Then apply them to various locations on as many  pages within the calendar as they choose.

The personalized business promotional calendar also enables users to add events or holidays that are unique to their business, organization or event.

The personalized business promotion calendar is primarily constructed using a card stock cover with text/paper stock pages.

Personalized business promotional calendars used effectively can generate, build upon and retain; brand recognition for your business and logo in a target area.

Products

The difference between ''budget'' and ''premium'' comes down to the cover and page elements used to construct your calendar.

Premium calendars are constructed of a 8pt card stock cover containing 12 pages of the same 8pt card stock.
Making your calendar comparable to those you might purchase in a retail shop.

Budget calendars are constructed of an 8pt card stock cover containng 12 pages of 60lb gloss text/paper stock.

The type of paper used for difference purposes is expressed in weight. In the countries following the European system, it is grammes per square metre (gsm or g/m2 or simply g) and in the US system it is Pound (lb).

The paper used for writing/printing (letterheads and such stationery) is generally between 60 to 120 gsm (20 to 70 lb) and is called the paper or text stock. Anything heavier than this is considered the card stock, i.e. the paper used for business cards, postcards, greeting cards, etc.
